A fabulous evening at Sbraga in Philadelphia

Recently a few friends were visiting from San Francisco and I wanted to take them out to a Philly restaurant that would really make for a memorable experience. Unfortunately they were only available on a Friday night—which can make it difficult to find a table at one of the city’s top hot spots without securing reservations months in advance. But on recommendation from folks at ChowHound, I ended up deciding on trying out Sbraga, the namesake restaurant of Top Chef Season 7-winning Kevin Sbraga.

First taste: Naples of Mullica Hill

Earlier this year,  Mullica Hill favorite Naples Pizza moved from its longtime location at The Old Mill Antique Mall across the street to the Warehouse, a former sweet potato warehouse now converted into restaurant and shopping space. Italy 2014 Day 16: Goodbye, Salerno! And a final meal at L’antico Molo (Fiumicino)

Well, it was finally time to get ready to say goodbye not just to Salerno but to Italy: our last full day before flying home had arrived. And after over two weeks of amazing adventures (and food), we were quite honestly getting ready to go home. Exhaustion and a blasted stomach virus we seemed to be passing back and forth had us both worn down and ready to catch up on some needed rest in our own bed in New Jersey.
