In line at the MasterChef open call, New York City
Tomorrow night the fourth season of MasterChef USA premieres. Am I excited? You bet!
Of course, I’d be even more excited if I’d actually made it on to the show this time around…as you may recall I did audition for it at the open casting call in New York City last year. It was a fun experience anyway, which I’ve finally written up so you can read about it over on Zujava:
My MasterChef Audition Experience
In any event, I plan to do weekly recaps and viewer polls on my MasterChef Season 4 Fan page, just as I did last year for Season 3.
Speaking of Season 3, yes I did just receive Christine Ha’s cookbook, but I’ll refrain from posting a review until I’ve had the chance to try cooking a few of the recipes. I was a little disappointed to see how generic some of the recipes were (did I really buy this cookbook for basic spaghetti and meatballs, or bruschetta?!) but I do want to try some of the dishes she actually made on MasterChef that made her a winner.

- MasterChef US – some thoughts on this season, and next year…? This morning I wrapped up my final MasterChef Season 3 episode recap. I'm sad to see the show over for another season, as it's definitely become one of my favorite flavors of "reality tv" […]
- MasterChef US Season Three – my favorite TV “guilty pleasure” is back! I confess, I love cooking shows on TV. They are basically all I watch these days. And one of my favorites (despite knowing surely how manipulative and staged much of it is) is MasterChef. […]
- Make way for more pork! My mom just had another one of her pigs sent off to the butcher this weekend - a 400pounder, which means pretty soon I'm going to have a freezer full of a LOT of wonderful pastured pork […]
